DP5 doesn't remember M5 settings??

Post by paullenart »

Can anyone explain to me how to save my presets and where they should be saved to? Any help is much appreciated. Each time I open a saved DP file my instance of M5 needs to be reloaded and I can't understand why.

I spoke to MOTU yesterday and it was explained to me that because I was trying to save the instance of Mach5 as a mono file, it wouldn't save the settings. So I changed it to a stereo file and BINGO, it worked. So be sure that your output settings for the Mach5 are set to stereo rather than mono. If you want to use only one track, set the output to stereo, then go to the Mach5 mixer (available either in the Part menu under the volume control, or in the middle window at the top left) and set the pan hard left or right and you're good to go. Hope this helps anyone out there who was scratching their head like me.
