Sound Grinder and DP

I've been trying to convert an accapella .mp3 file into a format that I can import directly into DP 5.13 (aiff, wav, sd2) and have been having some trouble doing this with Sound Grinder 3.2.3. Sound Grinder will convert MP3's to any of the above formats I mentioned, yet when I try to drag the newly created audio file into an audio track in DP (or using the import button in the soundbites window), I keep getting the same error message stating an error has occurred. Has anyone tried using this converter utility? It looks slick with a nice GUI, but I can't get it to do even those most basic of things while trying to use with DP. If DP really can't read the files it writes, can anyone suggest a good audio converter utility they've had success with? (while using with DP).

Thanks for any suggestions.

U could just use iTunes. Just import it then reconvert it back to aiff. Then drag that into DP.

I thought you can just drag the MP3 file onto an audio track in DP and it will convert automatically.

I had no idea I could drag and drop mp3's like that right on the audio track. (I just tried it with a different mp3 file and it worked fine) I've come to the conclusion that it must be the accapella mp3 file itself that DP doesn't like. I usually don't bring in samples directly from my desktop (usually import them using MachFive's file browser) so I hadn't really encountered many situations like this before. Anyway, thanks for the advice.

Is this a DP 5 function?

I'm still using 4.61 (till 6 comes out that is :D ) and i'm sure it doesn't work although it could be just me
