Hi all,
as you will see here -http://www.apple.com/macpro/) Apple is selling the new Mac Pro 8-core. But i'm worried about Motu cause Apple company offers a product (logic) designed and optimised for its machines. At the moment Motu cannot propose the same evolution and maybe Developers can't do the same evolutions after many months. So Mister Motu what are doing??
Leopard is a great operating system but at the moment only a few software editors can confirm that they are fully compatible with it. Logic is going to take the head of the market (also because Logic is sold at a very attractive price). Someone who'is working with Logic can work easier with logic than me with DP ( Virtual instruments DP consume a lot of resources respect other sequencer like Logic or Cubase). And I bought some Audio plug ins on DP who did not works properly at all while on other platforms (like logic, cubase or protools) they worked very well.
Do i have to think that MOTU is no longer able to go on compared with the competition? Obviously I am compelled to note that DP is not up to the competitor products.
Apple may propose some dream machine, I could never enjoy it because MOTU with DP is not able to propose a program that takes advantage of technological advances that offers apple. It is with sadness that I must point out that my friends
