Found a good way to use MX4 as an audio FX with a gtr or bass synth;

-Select a patch in "external input processing" ( try "bad trip" )
-Assing the MIDI out of your gtr/bass to MX4 MIDI in ( not trigger )
-Assing audio of your instrument to a stereo bus inside DAW
-Choose that bus in MX4 , press on ( beside "audio input" ), set input level

Makes a VERY VERY nice multi FX.

MX4 needs a MIDI note on to work with external audio , so with a gtr/bass synth , you can always send one.

MX4 is a gifted synth.

Works well with anything audio ...... my secret weapon !

On the MX4 effects, this video by Bo Astrup is a good one as well!
