Crash when loading M5V2

Hi,
I'm a proud owner of M5v1, and I just received my free copy of M5v2.01. Unfortunaltely I'm totally unable to load it (standalone and Vsti).
It crashes without displaying anything and I'm unable to kill the process in the task manager.

My computer specs :
MB : ASUS P5BE plus
CPU : E6600 core 2 duo
Sound : EMU 0404
VIDEO : ATI Radeon X1050 last drivers from ATI
Windows VISTA

I suspect that it's a video driver fault. I installed the windows default driver and for the first time the GUI loaded, but it became unresponsive and finally crashed.
Hope you can help !

Cheers.

Hi and welcome, you should e- mail MOTU tech support, techsupport@motu.com Be sure to list your setup and serial for the M5v2. There aren't that many PC users here, so I think you'll get answers from tech support sooner. Someone might correct me though.

Thanks for answering. I'll give thech support a try.
I tried on my laptop (with an ATI card) and gave exactly the same problems. It's very frustrating...

Tech support is the best way.

BTW: it works fine (save for a minor screen redraw problem) on my three yr old ATI Fire Mobility card. Your Radeon card does support Open GL 2, right?

Sarcazm : Yes my radeon supports OpenGL2...

I posted a request to the tech support. Now, I'm waiting for an answer.

I've had a small (but not very interesting) nightmare getting M5v2 to work on my Sempron based PC.

Check for the latest graphics card drivers anyway - mine were supposed to be OpenGL2 compatible but the graphics were sluggish until I got the latest driver.

Then I had to reinstall both M5v2 and my sequencer (in that order) to make it work as a plug-in.

And finally I discovered some plug-in formats work better than others (eg VST works much better than RTAS). It took me three weeks of fiddling around but M5v2 works pretty well now though.
