Do I have to dither in this case?

Hi:
I have recorded some tracks with singers at 16/44 and I have finished mixing and mastering. All my project was recorded and set at 16/44.
I‘m ready to bounce for making a CD. My question is:
Do I have to dither in the master track eventhough I‘m not changing the word length? or not? if I have to why?
Because I understand DP proccesses internally at 32 bits FP. So do I need to dither because of this word lenght reduction from 32 to 16?¡
Or I don‘t need to dither because DP does it automatically?
I know that if my project WAS at 24 bits, THEN I‘d need to dither, but in this case here, where everything is at 16/44, do I need to dither, or do I not?
Thank you

If you're talking bounce-to-disk, no, you won't need or want to dither.

Ok. Thank you for help.
Can I ask exactly why not? If you don‘t mind, I‘m looking for a technical explanation (if you are in the mood)
So what happens to DPs 32 bit floating point proccessing? Who converts from 32 to 16 if I don‘t dither it myself?
Is it not changing word lenghts from 32 to 16??.
Sorry, I‘m a bit confused...
I am using L2. So I just turn off all the options in the plug (Dither Type, Dither Shape)
Thank you
