Page 69 of the manual has a notice with a little "hand" pointing to it that says:
MachFive2 Manual wrote:In some cases, 3rd party .dats or .ufs files may require purchased authorizations before you can mount them in MachFive's browser and access their sounds. Consult the third-party developer for details.
Could this be the key to getting Spectrasonics and possibly other disks to work? Perhaps there is some authorization that could be obtained for free as a registered user, or for a small fee, which would allow access. If not, perhaps the developer of Spectrasonics could be persuaded to provide one for, say, $25 or some low fee for his trouble which might make him feel better about people who want to use his sounds in MachFive2's interface.

It seems worth a try for those who are interested. If he doesn't know about this capability, then the fact that it is potentially a revenue enhancer. At least this kind of leaves the door cracked open for future possibilities.
