MachFive 2 AU Not Showing Up In Logic

Just got hold of M52 - installed OK; updated iLok OK; Copied all DVD libraries OK; downloaded and installed 2.01 OK.

BUT the AU plug-in refuses to show up in Logic Pro v7.2.3. I've rebooted, trashed prefs, repaired permission but still no-show.

M52 runs fine in standalone and on an instrument track in Pro Tools LE. The plug-in is in the correct folder (library/audio/plugins/components) but Logic doesn't even register it at all. Logic's AU Manager doesn't find it. Any ideas? Thanks in advance!

I had this problem the day I installed it--wasn't showing up in any AU hosts--but couldn't tell you how I solved it--did nothing other than the things you mentioned, which didn't seem to work. But then next day, I booted up and there it was. <baffled>

Yours showing up in any other AU hosts, if you have any?

Do you have the update to 2.01 ?
Does it start up in stand alone mode ?

Don't use Logic. Just a couple of ideas....

Have you run the Project Manager to rescan AU's?

Thanks for input so far!

Yes - I have 2.01;
Yes -it works standalone;
No - I don't have any other AU hosts
Yes - I have rescanned AUs a couple of times after rebooting

Yours, still puzzled!

Did you try manually checking it in the AU manager?

Hmm... How do you do that? I've run Start Logic AU Manger from Logic's preferences menu but MachFive 2 doesn't show up in the list - even as a failed AU. Since starting this post I've also reinstalled M52 but to no avail.
Thanks for your continued suggestions.

Very peculiar (but happy) update to the problem...! I booted up Logic today and, lo & behold, there it was - M52 now working perfectly in Logic. No, I don't understand it as I haven't done anything else to my system. All's well that ends inexplicably well.
