meteo:
What version of the driver did you install? MOTU driver 1.1.2 requires OSX 10.4. If you don't have either of these, uninstall the driver.
Make sure the PCIe-424 card is properly seated.
Before re-installing the driver, restart the computer and set your computer's audio to Built-In (System Preferences> Sound). Try to open your Audio-MIDI utility again to make sure it doesn't give you an error code before you move ahead.
If it works, then install MOTU PCI-424 driver 1.1.2 and try again by setting your Audio-MIDI inputs and outputs to the PCI-424.
Repair Permissions using Disk Utility (Applications> Utilities).
Buona fortuna!

hi frodo, thanks for helping. i use mac os x 10.4.10
and i've installed the latest drivers that motu has released. i downloade them directly from motu site. i've also done what you said but nothing has changed.
any time that i try to open the system setup it gives me that error and in digital performer i only see the analog channels.
do you have any other idea?
