hi, i work a lot with audio, but unfortunaly not with MIDI. I just bought GarageKey MIDI keys and just want to work with some tracks MIDI, but the only sound I can get is from the Apple Software Synth, piano and drums. How do you send your MIDI track to an Virtual Instrument, like the standard bassline or whatever...

thanx a lot!

i work with DP5.12, Mac OSX 10.4

Once you instantiate a VI Track with a VI enabled, you should see new MIDI assignment choices corresponding to the VI.

The only assigning i can do is the apple synth and an IAC driver.
In the instrument track there are only outputs (audio) to remap, so that's not what you mean i guess??

Once you instantiate your VI, Make sure sure it assigned to a proper output (Stereo Out, stereo bus...)via the bundles. Thyen it should be avaiilable as a the MIDI output in the Track Overview, The Sequence Editor or the mixer. The MIDI output is located at the same place where you find the I/O Audio on your track.
