Try skydiving using the disc as a canopy.

It hasn't worked for me yet.

Maybe you can come up with a way to avoid the sudden stop at the end.

What speed do you recommend for the blender?

You also have a good heart Frodo...and I did stick the nose of my board in the sand once today. It was a shallow dive but none the less a dive. Much like my MachFive disc skydiving attempts, it too had a very abrupt stop
