Lightpipe compatability question

I have a Fostex VM200 and use the lightpipe connectors to my old 2408 MkII. Worked well for me, but I'm down sizing so I plan to sell it.

I have a Marc A PCI audio card from Marian that uses ADAT via Toslink and the windows software that came with it. I'm wondering whether or not the Alesis ADAT Mutichannel Optical Digital Interface of the Fostex will be compatable with the Toslink of the PCI audio card from Marian. If you don't know the answer, can you point me to a board that might have the answer?

Does Alesis ADAT play well with Toslink?
