Send not available every 4th instrument track??

Hi,
I have an orchestral template of 136 tracks mapped via 17 instrument tracks (each of which is hosting an instance of EWQLSO with 8 patches in each). As I have recently discovered w/ DP, you have to print your MIDI tracks to audio before you can bounce down to disk. To this effect I have created a seperate stereo audio track whos input is stero bus 1-2. I then went to my 17 Instrument Tracks to insert a "send" in each that goes to bus 1-2. this way all my MIDI audio will be going directly to this stereo audio track.

here's the problem:
On every 4th instrument track the "bus 1-2" is greyed out making it unselectable(!) For all the other 13 instrument tracks i was able to send them to "bus 1-2" no problem. Any clue what in the name of Warwick Davis is going on here?[/img]

Have you double-checked your output settings and preferences on all the Kompakt Players?

Have you double-checked your DP Bundles to make sure that you have all the proper routing options?

You've at least identified a predictable problem, which may make it easier to track down. I think something is either disabled or not available on every 4th VI track.

All the kompakt outputs are identical, none are different than any of the others. The 17 Instrument tracks are identical. Every 4th track has bus 1-2 greyed out. Any idea what could be causing it? What could be disabled on these tracks that isn't disabled on the others? I certainly didn't change anything. What might cause a send output option to be greyed for an instrument track?

God, I would just love it if DP did one thing right. Seriously, one thing. That would be awesome. this has been the transition from hell so far...

Does Kompakt distinguish between its default stereo outs and the extra (often call aux) outs?
If so, the default pair may need resetting.

The only other thing I can think of is that the sends in question don't marry with the desired destination (bus 1-2).
Are they all the same configuration in terms of being mono or stereo sends?

Lastly, I'd download the 5.11 update for DP; 5.0 is suspect, to say the least.
Who knows, this alone could help.
FWIW, I'd avoid the 5.12 update for now; questions need answering first.

Why not just set the actual outputs of the instrument tracks to bus 1-2. Then on your 'Mix' track use the input monitor to hear the playback.

That way you're assured that you won't ever get a double playback (MIDI and the bounce both playing back together).

I run it this way and it works great.
