URGENT! PLEASE!!! (Loosing communication betwn 424-2408)

Hi!
I'm in a recording session all week long... (that's why it's urgent)
Is anyone has ever heard about this, or experienced this problem?
I'm working normally, and suddenly, there is no sound... The 2408 is flashing (like when it is open with the computer closed).
It's like if the 2408 looses the communication with the 424.
If I go to control panel and click refresh, it took a long time, and finally act like if there were nothing plugged. (like if the 2408 was closed).
Being in Cubase or not, it does that. Randomly...
I have to restart to make it work again...
Anyone ever heard about that issue?
