Is anyone else using Tiger 10.41 w/ the FW 1884 and DP 4.52? Ever since I installed Tiger, I've been
getting these stuck/stuttering MIDI notes and then my whole computer crashes with a message on the monitor saying "You must restart your computer..." Everytime this happens in DP 4.52 when I stop and start or record a MIDI track in DP. I don't know if this is the Tascam FW 1884, DP, or Tiger that's causing these crashes. G4 dual 1.25 Ghz, 2 GB RAM, OSX 10.41. I've updated to the latest Tascam drivers 1.5. If anyone has any advice I would greatly appreciate it. I'm thinking of going back to 10.39 till the next update.
Thanks,
Tom

Re: Tascam FW 1884, DP 4.52 and Tiger sticks and then crashe
I used a TascamFW 1884 this weekend, I have a Tiger 10.4.1 install on my new 1.67ghz powerbook g4. No problems whatsoever. Check if something else is causing the problem, is beat detection turned off? I caused lockups and dropouts for me before.
Powerbook G4 1.67ghz (15"), 828mkII, rockit 8 monitors, and lots of coffee on those long late night sessions.

I've been using DP 4.52 with Tiger and the 1884 for about a month now, and haven't run across any problems like what you're describing. Have you updated to the latest driver for your MIDI interface?
