Hi! - using DP 5.01 on G5 2G with 2GRam

Does anyone know how to sync (via MIDI) the transport buttons on a CME UF88 keyboard controller (play, record, rewind etc)??

This, I am told, is by using the Commands Menu (under the main menu of SETUP) (scroll down to Transport commands-which are about 80% of the way down the menu bu the way) in DP, I have even tried to assign various keys (C0 or D0 etc) with no luck. I have assigned the 'source' column on the right to various things with no luck.

The main objective here is to control the transport controls in DP (play, record etc) from my MIDI keyboard controller. Any ideas would be appreciated!

well it seems like there is enough talk about this to know that there is an issue (which i am havng too). And tho workarounds work, it would be really nice to have an end-all solution for this.

if anyone has a solution that doesn't require a bunch of tweaks everytime you boot up, or wrapper apps, that would be best.
