No audio click running on DAE?

Am I missing something, or is audio click not supported under DAE? You can check the box, but there's no control to select an audio output in the click options dialog. You can only send it to the internal speaker. Tell me it isn't so...

Reviving an ancient question. Getting ready to do a session with DP5 running DAE and noticed the same thing. Does anyone know how to get an audio click out when running DAE.
thanks!

here's a solution
instead of selecting audio click, select MIDI click. then create a VI track that has some percussive sounds. buss it to wherever you want the click to come out. come back to the click preferences, in the MIDI click options select your VI for accented and normal
and voila !
you might have to lower the buffer a little (although it was running good on my powerbook with 1024 of buffer size)

Does the Digi Click plugin work with DP in DAE mode?
Put one of the motu click soundfiles in a track and repeat it a bunch of times.

Digiclick instrument plug in does work in DAE mode, just a bit of a nuisance to have to add a track to hear a click. It can be handy to have a mixer ( or monitor station that allows multiple simultaneous source monitoring) with the audio outputs of the computer routable to the monitors simultaneously with the digidesign interfaces. For listening to CD's, etc. in addition to just the click. Turn it off when not in use as the computer audio output can be kind of noisy.
