Anyone use both? How's the compatibility of the two?

pretty good, you can set Peak up to be your external sound file editor, for destructive edits and such. Never been a fan of DP's soundfile editor, or terribly crazy about its file management system, but I think that is because I have yet to really customize it to fit my needs...

Peak (Version 4 anyway) is a solid program, despite its UI quirks. I am not a fan of their plugin integration, but I use DP for that. One thing to note is that some DSP cards, like the UAD-1 cannot be shared between the two programs if running at the same time. At least, that has been my experience.

Peak is amazing at fixing those nasty digital clicks that infiltrated my early digital recordings...before I really understood clocking and what not...

I use both happily. I've never had an issue with sound files edited in one failing to open in the other. I do sequencing, mixing, and mastering tasks in DP, and I use Peak for disc assembly and occasional sound file repair (clicks, noises)

Zero compatability issues for me.

Peak works with just about any audio file type you can think of. It's versatile in that way.
