Cant use MX4 demo

Mac 10.4.7

Downloaded demo and installed it. When plugin is opened in a host, I get a message that trial period for demo has expired, do I want to buy it?
I just want to try before buy. Anyone have an idea of whats wrong.
Have tried in several daws (Live 6, Logic 7, RAX)

Yes, IMO, I think you should want to buy it. It's so deep YET so simple to program. I absolutely love it.
