Is anyone using the PCIe cards?
I would like to know if this card helps with lantency.
By the way I am new here so hello everyone!

I just test 24 I/O on PCIe and 828 MKII. Just simple test open on Reason 3 Mac. 828MKII Show 11 Ms latency on PCIe got 12 Ms

I recently upgraded my system and also went to the PCIe 424 card with my existing 2408 MK II.
I'm using Sonar 5. Yesterday, with more than 24 tracks audio (24 bit/48000 and countless instances of compressors, reverbs, autotunes, etc.) on playback, I was able to live monitor and record (with realtime FX) at 5.3 ms latency without issues. And at about 23% CPU capacity.
System Details:
PC running XP x64
Intel Motherboard (5000 Server Series)
Dual Xeon, Dual-Core Processors @ 3.2 GHz each
2 Gigs DDR2 Ram
I guess it's not a fair assessment since I built a new system AND changed out the card at the same time. BUT...I can tell you there were absolutely no problems getting the 424 installed. I remember how much of a headache the old 324 card was when I first got it!
