Hi MOTU users,
I've got PB with installing new MOTU fw/usb2 driver (3.6.7.3) under windows XP. What follows is the mail I sent today to MOTU techsupport:
"I've got problems about installing the new FW/USB2 drivers (3.6.7.3). The 3.6.7.0 worked fine, no probs with install and use (I work on Nuendo 3.2.x). I uninstalled the old MOTU audio drivers via the link on the start/programs/ MOTU tab, it worked fine. I killed the MFWAKeys.exe process and tried to install the new driver (3.6.7.3), but the install process freezed at the end of the installation. After clicking on "cancel", the installation process did not respond, so I killed the process manually. I tried again, but during the installation, the following message appeared "An other installation is still running. let this end or try to continue". I clicked on try again, and it bugged immediatly on the same message, so I cancelled. Then, after clicking on "start", "stop" and "reboot", a message (well known by windows users

) about a running process which can't end appeared... Yes, but it was not a process I knew (like NAV or other soft), but an extracting file process... i tried to reinstall the 3.6.7.0, it worked fine. I uninstalled it and tried again the new driver, same problem, same message about extracting files. So I tried to download again the driver on the MOTU website (maybe my first download was corrupted...) and reinstall. Same thing. I really don't think my computer's got a PB. So two possibilities: i'm a big zero or there's a PB with this new version. I tried to find my answer on unicornation forums (I didn't let a message, but I'm going to do this, copying this mail), but I didn't find anybody who experimented this kind of prob with the 3.6.7.3 driver. "
is there anybody to help me ?
