i want to record from ADAT analoge to an ultralite but the pre amps give a different level for the recording than the other 6 analoge inputs.
can someone tel me how much difference there is so i can correct in digital performer or cubase le?

One way to get the levels of the combo inputs and 1/4" inputs to match is this. Use your DAW software to output a test tone (i.e. 1kHz at -6 or whatever) take the main output L and plug it into any of 3-8 inputs. plug main output R into either 1 or 2 combo input. Use whatever sytem you use to monitor levels and adjust the gain control until the levels match on the analog and combo inputs (make sure you don't create feedback loop) Repeat process for the other mic pre. When you get the gains set at unity, you can even mark the trim knobs, so you know you can find it again.
