I'm using a traveler with a g4 1Ghz titanium on OSX 10.4.5. I just did a clean install on the computer, and updated all software and hardware drivers. The traveler works fine when I first turn it on with Logic, itunes, etc. But if the computer is left for more that 5 minutes (goes to sleep), I have to eject hard drives and turn it back on to get it working again... very frustrating. Never had this problem on 10.3.9 and old drivers. Please help!!

Shot in the dark: Look at your Energy Saver System Preferences, and set hard drives to never sleep, and also put it on Highest Processer Performance.

Just wondering, why did you only do a fresh install up to 10.4.5?

I also have a Titanium 1Ghz PB, and although I haven't used my Traveler much, I've not seen the behaviour you described.

Just went to 10.4.5 cause someone recommended not to go beyond that with a power pc. Don't know if there's any truth to that, but figured I'd see how things went with it at first. Maybe I'll go ahead to 10.4.9 now

What power supply are you using? The firewire bus may not be enough. Personally, 10.4.8 has not been a problem for me at all. I second the energy preferences suggestion.
