I did a successful experiment a while back - using a 2nd DV cam connected to my laptop I was able to stream the output of my seperate DP rig includin that systems DV cam out over ichat... Quality was surprisingly good ( I left it looping and and went over to my friends place to see it!!)

that's great - but not everybody has Ichat - and some company firewalls block IM anyways..

I remember a few years back that I saw that the Mac OS X server could stream video in real time -

Is this possible to do with out running the server software? It would be killer if I could as it would mean I could show my clients what I am doing as I'm doing it and they could be in there offices or where ever....

There is an OS X built-in feature which you can set this up in your share folder.
But I forgot what it's called.
