Old MIDIXpress XT & MacBook Pro Kernel Panic!!!

Post by Dwetmaster »

As soon as I try to use plug my MIDI XT with DP, I get a Kernel Panic saying I have to restart my computer bla bla bla...
I was able to use it in Reason in stand-alone mode without any problems, but if I use the XT with DP, it's won't work. I know there's a rom thing with the old XT's but Josh from MOTU Tech is saying that I don't need it...

Any Ideas. I have a MBP 2.16GHZ 2Gigs RAM OSX 10.4.8 and DP 5.1. I tried with both USB drivers 1.32 & 1.34 same results.

Any miraculous solutions???
