Suggestion on interface?

What would you suggest for an audio interface for my live rig, I only need four outputs (stereo FOH, stereo drummer headphone send). It doesn't need to have MIDI as my Axiom 61 already has that for me. Basically I'm trying to avoid using the laptop outputs, but want a higher quality audio signal. Bus powered a must. Thanks for your input.

Well, what do you need it for? If you just need basic outputs for live playing (not recording), the Presonus Firebox is a great solution for under $300. I set Anton Fig up with one for triggering Reason live on the Tonight Show (David Letterman) and it works great.

Definitely looking for something for live use only, I have the 828mkII in the rack at home, and don't want to fool with pulling it out everytime I play. I'll check out the firebox, thanks.

Well if you have an 828mkII already, and I know this is way more money, but perhaps a second 828mkII would be ideal so that you don't have different drivers and a different interface to setup later. In other words, you have your system in the studio and your system live (this is the same reason I had a pair of Kurzweil K2500XS keyboards...one stayed in the studio, one stayed in a case for live use).

I wish I could afford to double my rig like that.
Could be useful!!!
