Hi there,

I cannot get my MSI vers 1.1.1 to see the MSI.dat file wherever I put it or an alias of it. I've tried every conceivable place, restarted but with no avail.

On my G5 Dual, it doesn't see the sounds, and on my new Mac Pro (vers 1.1.2 of MSI), not only won't it find the sounds, but the MAS plug-in doesn't show up in Performer 5.1!

I don't know what else to do.

Did you read the troubleshoot section in manual?

I certainly did, and I've tried every variation - It seems incredible that I get the same result on 3 different computers!

Maybe it doesn't like Australia.

I've written to MOTU Tech Support, but haven't heard back yet.

The mac pro problem is expected as an update is in the work to support MAS MSI on MacIntel machines. (MacIntel is already supported on all other plugin platforms). The update is epxected very soon.

Anyway: Have you tried copying the dat file again? We've seen people here having problems copying this large file form their DVD drive. Some even had to transfer it from another machine on the network.
