Korg M1R Question

I just bought one of these today out of the paper pretty cheap. I hooked it up and notice that it sends out the MIDI Out a constant regular message... I'm guessing it's active sensing perhaps. I've looked through the manual and paged through the global parameters and can't find a way to turn this off. I guess it's no big deal. It plays fine. I'm wondering if I should go to Clockworks and and set the MTP/AV to mute it for any reason?

Hey, Jimbo.
I've just spent 1/2 an hour looking for a recent post I submitted on this subject, but to no avail.
The bottom line is you can mute the signal if you want to.
It may annoy you. That'd be a good enough reason.
Personally, I try to get used to active sense signals as they provide the reassurance that connections are sound.
So do it, or not. The question is yours.
Or something like that!

Thanks, mate! I just decide to mute it at the MTP input. I'm a picky person... and the constant blinking of the LED for the input on my MPT/AV unnerves me!! (You see just how fragile I am?) LOL

It was a pleasure, Jimbo!
I have nerve trouble. I can relate.
