Turning Off 2408mk3

Hi, i have a question for you guys using 2408Mk3, everytime i shut them off all leds turn on and i hear a loud noise, like a 6KHz sine wave... it seems like capacitors discharging to the outputs... ive just notice today that when the 2408 are not connected to the PCI-424 it doesnt make noise, so its my PCI-424 or does everyones cards make this noise???

Yes, my card makes that noise too.. I have two HD192s and I used to have a 2408mk3 and it made the noise too. Now it's just second nature to make sure the volume is off before I shut down.

yeap, thats what i usually do, but i thought wierd once without the 2408 connected to the pci card, there is no noise...
i thought my pci card was broken, also due to another problem im having recently
