How do I record an AUX track to disk?

Folks,

This is my first post. I just started using DP (DP5) and I can't, for the life of me, figure out how to record an AUX track.

I'm running my PCM91 through the AES/EBU in's and out's of my 896HD into an AUX track. I can hear the audio from the AUX track perfectly in the mix. I need to commit the output of the PCM91 to disk. I've read the manual but I can't seem to find a reference on how to do this.

I can use the analog in's and out's of the PCM91/896HD to acheive my goal but I would really like to use the AES connections. Any help/suggestions would be much appreciated.

Tony
Ps. I also searched this forum but didn't find what I'm looking for.

Assign your inputs to a regular audio track. If you have plugins on the Aux, you can move them or copy them to the regular track by depressing the Command Key and dragging them, or the Command/Option key for dragging a copy. The Aux doesn't record; it's a virtual track. More of an "in between" or a plugin station.

You can also freeze an Aux track. Just select the track, select the range, and under the Audio menu, pull down to "Freeze Selected Tracks."

Thanks Shooshi. I'll give that a try.
