I am in school for audio engineering.We are working on a sequencing project in dp.The cpu i started the project on had dp 5.0 Today i had to use another cpu the had the older version of dp on it.There was an error and it wouldn't open the file.Any advice on how to get it open would be greatly app.

You can't open a DP5 file in anything earlier than DP5, just as you couldn't open a DP4.6 file in DP 4.5. You have to do a 'save as' and choose an earlier version format to save it into in order to open it in previous versions. This is pretty standard for all software.
