Dual Quad and 828Mk2

I just purchased a qual quad and used Apple's utility to copy files over. Everything seemed to work fine until today, when I attached my 828 Mk2. It appears as though OS X doesn't see the device, so I tried another cable, then downloaded the lastest files off of MOTU's site. (The 828 worked fine on my old system, a dual 1.8.)
Any ideas?
