Maybe one of those developers will come out with a plug in to wake me up in the morning. :D My hardware alarm clock is getting old and I can only use it once. A plug-in version will allow me to use multiple instances to make sure I wake up. :D :D

Thanx,
That's the way I have been leaning.

My funds dictate Project pak with a few add-on for now. Plus they are offering a free LA-2A now.

I wonder why UA is not going to be there or is this list wrong?

I know people will probably disagree with this, but I own the UAD-1 with all of the plug ins. I think they work okay but not great. I was using the waves plugs for a while and got hooked (demo version). I thought I'd buy the UAD and be happy. I wasn't. I'm my opinion, the compressors don't work nearly as well as the renaissance stuff. As a matter of fact, I found myself looping lead vocals back into my TubeTech compressor (real one, not plug in) just so I could get the vocals sounding like I wanted them.

I'm not trying to put down any companies, but the Nigel isn't too hot either. Both amplitube and, particularly Trash, smoke Nigel.

I recently bought the RennMaxx bundle and I'm happy as can be. The Reverb sounds great and the compressors are, in my opinion, as good as they get. With your new G5, Al, you can run plenty of Renaissance plugs and be really happy for only $450! I rarely even use the UA plugs anymore.

Just one opinion, though.

Hi all,

I don't know the name of the local UAD-1 Rep here in LA, so I guess that's my fault that they weren't invited (unless you prefer to blame West LA Music). Also, it seemed like the original idea was to focus on instruments and not FX. But if this one event (our first) goes well, it could grow into something a little bigger and a little more formal....

Absolutely brilliant. One of the best replies I've seen on this board.
