Hey MotU users,
I use Ableton Live to loop my guitar.
Now I want to change my using, because I miss my guitar amp‘s sound. I connect my guitar to my interface (896HD) and record my playing. In addition to this I tried to connect my analog out to my amp and wanted to hear my recorded loops. It didn‘t work. So now it‘s your turn, can you tell me why it didn‘t work? Or can you tell me the right way to do hear recorded loops with a guitar amp?
Thankx Elec

Hmm... can you go into detail in regards to your signal chain?

Hey, DP users: do you think this could be a simple CueMix issue?

My signal chain:
guitar- DI Box- Mic Input of 896HD- Ableton Live software
(Input: Mic Input, Output: Analog Out-Channel 8 of 896HD(+4or -10dB?)-XLR to mono cable- guitar amp power amp input: I cannot hear anything.
Is it possible?

i think u need to enable the patch thru in ur software (Live) so that u can hear what ur playing .... there must be something like input monitoring or audio patch thru that's disabled.

use radial's reamp box. thats is essentially what you are doing. you can change amps or settings and rerecord if you like.
