ultralite live vst latency?

Post by fractured »

Hi Everyone,

I was thinking about getting either an m-audio 4/10 or the ultralite today / tomorrow. based on my experiments with the 4/10 I can get some really great latency when processing live vst / vstis through cubase for vocals as well as using my roland vdrum with battery. I was wondering if anyone else uses the ultralite this way and what kind of results they have had?

Thanks in advance!

Nick

I had the FW 1814 and it is two steps BELOW the Ultralite in terms of build and sound quality. My latency on the Ultralite is really low too - as low as the 1814...

I'm looking at this or the yet to be realeased RME Fireface 400, could you give a specific figure for "really low" latency please?
