Anyone using TranzPort or any other wireless controller with DP ? It would be cool if you want to cut acoustic piano in another room , to have an extra set of play and record buttons that you can take with you . Does it really work ? :D

Yes, it works great. You can search some old posts for it.

Works great, but using undo always takes you back to track 1.
Otherwise a very handy tool.

Although this is over a year old, I just bought a Tranzport a few hours ago and man this thing is great to use. I LOVE IT!!!!!! I usually record vocals alone and although my Mackie Control is cool, I wasn't taking it in the iso booth with me. All I can say is this thing is great.

PS It works with my Mackie (I know, Motu said you could use multiple control surfaces, but I didn't think it would actually work)

I love mine.

Warning/note:
At first I had terrible issues. When I connected the Tranzport, CPU usage slammed up over 75% and stayed there. Computer just idlin', DP running but not doing anything. Forget about multitracking. I eventually tracked it down to the USB bus, and since the Tranzport was the last thing I connected, and I hadn't noticed the problem before, I blamed the Tranzport. Wrong! It was the el-cheapo D-Link USB bluetoof dongle. Bad dongle! Bad, bad dongle!

Tranzport's been vital ever since. It sits next to the computer when I'm working and gets used as a transport control... it sits on the music stand when I'm tracking vocals or guitar, and it sits by the drums in iTunes mode so I can flip randomly through mp3s and wail away on drums to whatever comes up. :)

Love my Tranz Port. I also love my Alpha Track even though a few features are not yet DP ready. It is still nice to do some manual fades and do some riding for automation.

Tranzport is one of my favorite devices of all time. Works great with DP, but make sure you download the latest version of the drivers from the Frontier website.
