Tiger + Undo History Bug

I was just building a score with QT movie (about 9 MIDI tracks a few mach 5 channels and Stylus RMX) when all of a sudden my Mach 5 guitar tracks disappeared. I thought maybe I recorded over them by mistake so I hit undo previous a few times and nothing changed so I hit redo previous a few times and opened the undo history and it wouldn't let me go back in time anywhere. I guess I've lost undo history but this losing a track out of the blue has me spooked. I've got a deadline and I don't want to have to go back to panther and reinstall earlier versions of dp
