MIDI Crash Prevents DP from Launch

Anyone encounter this before?

"Digital Performer is unable to run because the MIDI system has crashed. Please quite any programs that are using MIDI, and try again."

I am not running anything. I restarted the computer and launched. I get this everytime. DP 4.6 was rock solid until tonight.

Ideas?

G5 Audio MIDI setup appears blank and will not allow e to "Rescan MIDI" or execute any other option.

I can't launch 4.52 or 4.6

help?

resolved. sorry to bother, but it was as simple as reinstall the maudio firewaire audiophile drivers.
