I did a double-take when the "available as" said:
Mac VST2/VST3 65 bit.
I was like, "Hmmm. 65 has to be a little better than 64."
Hahaha... it's one louder. When you need that little extra push over the cliff!

Audiolatry's Retrovibes VI is free at the moment:
https://audiolatry.gumroad.com/l/retrovibes/holidaygift
RetroVibes is a sample-based virtual instrument plugin (ROMpler) for DAWs and other plugin hosts operating on Windows and macOS.
At its base are a series of samples captured from hardware and software sources (synths, emulators, etc). There are 71 instrument presets in total, covering a wide palette of sounds, from brasses to leads, keys to basses, pads, percussion, and so on.
All the presets were inspired by the 80s sounds and come with that retro vibe. Each preset is customizable with a set of controls such as ADSR envelope, modulation, filter, reverb, etc.
RetroVibes is available in VST/VST3 64-bit Windows and VST/VST3 & AU for macOS.

Just saw this last night on a YouTube video:
https://acondigital.com/products/multiply/
It's also M1 native from the info on the page.
Acon Digital Multiply is a free and versatile chorus effect with a unique twist. Each simulated voice is processed with a phase randomizing filter so that unpleasant comb filter effects are avoided. The effect can be used to simulate the effect of several performers playing the same tones simultaneously, to widen the spatial image or to create special effects for sound design. Multiply can simulate up to 6 additional voices and both the pitch and the loudness of the voices can be modulated. There is also an integrated equalizer consisting of low cut, low shelf, high shelf and high cut filters that can be applied to the effect signal. An integrated pre-delay section makes it possible to create modulated and diffuse echo effects.

I always check out this guy's channel. He shares pretty good deals and often some freebies. Here's the Jan. 6 installment:

I don't know how much practical use some of us will get from this, but it's fun. Has sounds from several different old school drum machines including the Yamaha RX-11 which I used to have!

(Also M1 native in AU and VST3)

This looks pretty fun. Have only messed around with it for a short time. Currently it's only available as AU and VST2 and is NOT M-1 native. I did need to reboot though before the system recognized the AU, but I had no problem just now loading it in Digital Performer 11.21, and seems to work fine under Rosetta.
One of the things I like about it, is it superimposes the panning indication over the audio wave form. See the attached graphic I posted.
Here's the link:
https://www.cableguys.com/pancake.html
And here's the info:
PanCake is a free plugin for most flexible panning modulations.
You can construct your own modulation curves. They can be easily drawn using soft or hard control points, thus producing gentle transitions or sharp bends in the waveform.
PanCake's LFO can be beat-synced to your DAW, from a fast 1/128 note modulation up to 32 bars. It can also be set free-running from 0.02 Hz to 5.24 kHz, and can be triggered vie MIDI.
A precise display of channel left/right volume provides helpful visual control.
Best of all, PanCake is completely free! No login, no registration required. Download now.

This guy has a whole slew of fun, small footprint VIs absolutely free. And they all can run native on M1 Macs

I can't tell if any of these are Apple Silicon native. I'd be willing to bet that they're not:

An impressive, clean, non-emulation-based compressor. It's donation-ware.

I couldn't see if it is AS/M1 native. There are windows VSTs.

It's a "Compressor, Transient Shape..." And it's free... you can decide how useful it is. You have to make an account at their site to get it.

It's not M1 native, FYI, but seems to run okay inside DP 11.21

Not Native, but works well in Rosetta and doesn't use a lot of CPU. Nice find!
