Got the splash screen with both builds. Nice thing is this one doesn't throw up the 'conflicting keybindings' message I got with the previous build.
Is there a release notes of what all 9.02 has in it? I know someone here posted what was in the installer screen section of things fixed but I'm looking for a total list of all the bits and bobs in 9.02.

Shouldn't MOTU be telling people who downloaded the earlier version that there's a newer version that might fix some stuff? Just sayin'...

Update, tech support says the VSTi MIDI out duplicates in the MIDI In menu is being worked on for the next update to the update.

When I booted DP today, IT told me there was a new version, and asked if I'd like to download it. I clicked yes, downloaded it, and installed it. Using it now.MIDI Life Crisis wrote:Shouldn't MOTU be telling people who downloaded the earlier version that there's a newer version that might fix some stuff? Just sayin'...

These are marketing announcements and release notes. Not what you would call documentation you'd expect to find in a manual.corbo-billy wrote: http://cdn-data.motu.com/marketing/motu ... 016-pr.pdf
I wonder how many of us read the manual, or care whether it's accurate or up to date.

Re: D.P. 9.02 dispo on MOTU Site
If you're happy in 9.01, you might stay there another week or two, though 9.02 is certainly usable for most things. The Movie Window bug that it first exhibited has been fixed in a "new 9.02" posted today, but there is a bug in the "Lines Mode" of the MIDI editors (Sequence, MIDI, Drum, and Notation windows) which makes working in Lines Mode unpredictably awkward and slow. They need to fix that, pronto! If everyone wrote to MOTU, left a tech link, or called Tech Support, we might get this fixed in a matter of days.buzzsmith wrote:Any issues, Shoosh?Shooshie wrote:

Here's a post I made about it, in a thread that others were talking about the same thing.
http://www.motunation.com/forum/viewtop ... 14#p521414
I see other small issues as well, mostly in the threads around the forum, but nothing earth shattering. I haven't used it enough to find much right or wrong about it, though it certainly SEEMS nice enough to me. (other than the above-mentioned things)

Re: D.P. 9.02 dispo on MOTU Site
This may relate to no splash screen loading on your system, Mike (though you're 2 MacOS's ahead of me.) - In both 9.02's, for the first time, my splash screen comes on displaying the version numbers, but without my name and serial number. For a few seconds. Then my name and serial number join the screen in their usual positions. If the splash screen routine has split these two tasks, could that be some sort of hint? Pretty cool that this 'bug' (in your system anyway) is a feature, as it enables quicker boot up times for DP.
