Where (and maybe why) are people getting 10.10.4? Probably not quite the right OS to try out a x.0.0 version of an application like DP.

I'm seeing this as well:Ulas wrote:I found a little bug. Fx and VI windows are not floating at fullscreen. (Yosemite 10.10.4)
10.10.4 is a beta version.bayswater wrote:Where (and maybe why) are people getting 10.10.4? Probably not quite the right OS to try out a x.0.0 version of an application like DP.

I'm only seeing the electronic delivery option there.mikehalloran wrote:I was going to order from Sweetwater by clicking through the link. I am not seeing the boxed option, however. I have emailed them to see if it's available.
What specifically? Not seeing any screen redraw issues so far.MIDI Life Crisis wrote:Some screen redraws are not completing. I'm using full screen mode and consolidated windows.
Yes, I know but, since the price is no different and click-throughs help support this web site, I will order through Sweetwater when I can. I expect that they'll get back to me tomorrow.wvandyck wrote:I'm only seeing the electronic delivery option there.mikehalloran wrote:I was going to order from Sweetwater by clicking through the link. Get the boxed and download version directly from MOTU!
Great idea Mike. I've got the demo running, so there's a whole month to get a license, and getting it via Sweetwater can only help the cause.mikehalloran wrote:Yes, I know but, since the price is no different and click-throughs help support this web site, I will order through Sweetwater when I can. Beg to disagree. I can't knock DP9 because there's an issue on an OS version that's not a true public release version.wvandyck wrote:10.10.4 is a beta version.bayswater wrote:Where (and maybe why) are people getting 10.10.4? I'm running that on my i5 MBP.
10.10.3 on the quad core i7 Mini.
It's all useful information.
I suppose it's useful to the QA people at Apple and MOTU. At this point I don't see how it's useful to us.James Steele wrote:Beg to disagree. True enough. Being an Apple developer, I'll bet MOTU has a machine at their disposal running 10.10.4 and that issue wasn't considered a "show stopper" for the scheduled release considering it IS a beta and there are very few DP users running a beta version of Mac OS, which I'd consider somewhat risky anyway if I were dependent on my studio.bayswater wrote:I suppose it's useful to the QA people at Apple and MOTU.
