Placed the order today!
If the RTAS works as advertised it's goodbye to about 2k of gear and I'll run DP on my PTHD rig.

I wish I could run some RTAS plugs within DP. This hasn't changed, has it?

What on earth are you holding out for!?!?! Treat yourself to a new computer and a decent LCD monitor... even a second-hand G5 will make a world of difference.

You are seriously short-changing yourself. Composing will be MUCH more enjoyable if you upgrade your setup. One day you will ask "What was I thinking?" and "Why did I go without this for so long?"
Im thinkin about selling my g5

THat is NOT the way to increase you post count, Richard. DO what Monkey Man does... then again, DON'T. Repeated post are preferable... :)

Ordered it this am right after I saw the initial post. Just curious though, I've always left my previous versions on my main drive and am now wondering if I should uninstall these at some point. I'm also tempted to hold off on some mixing until 6 arrives. Perhaps that's a suicidal move however.

Phoenix Lander finds water ice on Mars AND DP 6 comes out? Man, am I geeking out! Next is evidence of past life on Mars (or present) and WAVES 6 to work with DP (a little birdie told me about Waves 6 coming out sooon). But can I deal with the WUP? Whoops, wrong thread.

For those of you who follow these things, today is also the end of Mercury retrograde -- in astrology when stuck things get unstuck.

Order in.

Improved OMF/AAF importDP6's expanded audio file support means that a wider variety of OMF and AAF files can be imported without converting the audio.
Yes!

the reverb is 5.1 compatible and interleaved AIFF & WAV support!

Awesome!
