Things that would make me hesitate:
100 GB is nothing to sneeze at space-wise (for me, anyway). And for 100 GB, you won't get a full orchestra.
I don't really need lots of mic positions, and that actually is a waste of space for me. I'd prefer two: close mic'ed and maybe one at a slight distance. (I don't know if the samples are stereo, but that wouldn't be necessary for me).
Listen very carefully to the demos and see if it responds as you would want it to.

The Aria the player stuff that comes/came with Finale is decent. The demos at that link didn't sound particularly great.
Free TBProAudio ISOL8 Plug In

Here's the link:
http://www.tb-software.com/TBProAudio/ISOL8.html
From the developer's page:
Isol8 is an advanced mix monitoring tool. It divides the frequency range into 5 bands.
These 5 bands can be soloed or muted individually. This will help you to concentrate on certain frequency ranges during the mixing and mastering process.
Isol8 is originally designed to be used on the master track, but it can also be used on individual audio track busses.

Seems very cool but I've already found something a little strange about that plug. I put it on the last insert on my Master Fader track, after my Slate FG-X, and when the plug was enabled it appeared to add gain even in a neutral state with none of the buttons pressed. The output meters on my HD192 went into the red. When I bypassed the plug they went back to the previous level just *before* clipping. It seems, again, that this plug is adding gain when put in the signal chain.

Not happening here. Is the Output level set to zero?
The odd thing here is that the AU version is not recognized by DP and I had to use the VST. Does the VST do the same on your setup?

I just had a chance to actually try it out and am seeing the same thing, unfortunately. I'm using the AU version.

Thanks for verifying. I'm using the AU also. I hadn't tried yet with a metering plug placed AFTER ISOL8 to find out just how much gain was added, but my meters on my HD192 definitely showed this. bayswater said this is not happening with the VST so maybe I'll try that. I suppose I could compensate by turning gain down on plug, but frankly I don't like the idea of managing the digital stream with a kludge like that. I'll try the VST and see if that fixes it and report issue to developer.
Tarilonte's libs all on sale 25 JAN only at Best Service

This excludes (IIRC) the Accordions 2 update, and other recent upgrades.
I've already deleted the email announcement, but usually that info is also always found on the front page of the Best Service website:
https://www.bestservice.de/deals.html
I don't know what they consider to be 25 JAN, in terms of length of time of the sale, and time zone.
Other than the usual FEB two-for-one sale though, this is probably the best price on Tarilonte's excellent libraries in about a year.
Note that some of these are for Kontakt, whilst others are for Engine, which used to be marketed by Yellow Tools but now seems to be managed by Best Service.
I no longer have reliability issues with Engine, but it is not as full-featured as Kontakt or Falcon/UVI, so I do kind of prefer it when they do Kontakt libs as there's more control over effects, MIDI CC's, automation, etc.

Hi I just read this in a VI-Control post, The code worked for me,I purchased and I am downloading now.
Zero-G "Taste of the Eastern Bundle" (Eastern Flute and Eastern Violin) for $1.99 after using the code:
BUNDLE50
I have only heard the demo on their site briefly,it sounds OK but for $1.99,I think it's worth a shot.I suspect it can be useful at some point.
It's a bit older Kontakt 3 & some other formats.
This deal is only good today.
