I'm one of those guys who enjoys a little toilet humour. But clubbing a guy in the groin repeatedly is where I must draw a line.

[I see that it has moved to the face in the meantime. That's better. Thank you. :) ]

You're welcome.

Don Hertzfeldt - the 'Marilyn Manson of the animation world' (sort of). An easily misunderstood figure ... commenting on the human condition with sensitive, acute observation with occasional gang violence-humour. I saw a trailer for his new short 'Everything will be OK' recently - it looks awesome.

BTW you and Monkey Man are joint winners of this week's 'Sig Wisdom/ Truthism Awards'.

Many congrats! :D

I've been talking to a few 'top name' developers - I haven't quite finalized the prizes yet ..... but let's just say it will be nothing.

:D

Um, I'd like to thank God, and my mom for being a digital trailblazer and inspiration with her Texas Instruments calculator, and also my grade 2 teacher, Mrs. Groves, for not liking me and making it easier to admit that I hate school. And, oh my gosh. I want to thank my Forum Admin, and my agent, Monkey Man, and - I think I'm outta time here. Thank you so much for this great honor. [band plays out into commercial]

Voiceover: "Feeling down about your next upgrade being so late? Here at Apple Logic, we know how you feel. That's why..."

Gee, thank you Spikey; this is one great honour, man.

I've not prepared a speech, so I guess that means I'm speechless.

This explains all the papparazzi hanging around... Am I the only one or are you getting the same on your end, Monkey?

NEWSFLASH: "bOing baby bump??? Yes, sure he's a man, but if seahorses can do it... We'll let you know.

But first - Monkey Man scores again with another Australian hit completely recorded in Poosonicâ„¢ Surround Sound using his patended APEphonics mixer. We'll tell you all about it right after this:"

Yeah bOing.

Funnily enough, the pooparazzi follow me around like flies do a turd.
A mobile turd, that is.

When I first began posting here at UNI and getting a pleasant response I thought that maybe some of the more disenchanted DP folks at Big Blue Lounge/OSX Audio had it all wrong.

No, I thought. The Unicornation guys aren't snobs and elitists, or rude and unfriendly. Shooshie, Monkey Man, Twisted Tom and Kassonica, and so many more - all decent folks without an axe to grind on the hearts of others.

I still don't believe that. But I'm beginning to feel quite unwelcome here by some. I'll be the first one to admit it - I don't fit in with that country club mentality that some of the folk here seem to have. And yeah, maybe I don't dress the part either.

But there is much wisdom here and I suppose it's like going to the store for something that you need: on the way you may go down some different streets and be accosted by thugs, beggars, loonatics and those who think they own the land that they're walking on, the neighbourhood, or the service they are providing to humanity.

No one "owns" this forum without the consent of those participating. I don't go to BB Lounge anymore since I came here. And I think it may come that another forum may spring up where people like me, and and few others here, are not seen through competitive, disdainful eyes of those who feel that life is cheating them of true happiness and must therefore try to cheat me of it too. Impossible. But the air is still bad as of late and I like it fresh and clear.

I enjoy posting here. I hope that this is not my last one.

This is just my take on it bOing, your cool with me; any way here it is.

The world is full of people with different ideas on every thing don't worry about it, just be you and it is cool. Reading through some posts I see you have gotten into it with at least one member just kiss and make up and do not argue or insult each other and let it go. This has been a very civil board and that is one of the nice things about it.

Let it be let it be peace full words of wisdom.

We have music to make.

Well, obviously this is not my last one. I must say though that I've found my recent spats quite illuminating. Sometimes staying on topic and too emotionally dry allows people to hide their true colors.

I hope everyone saw mine. I know I saw a few other people's. Good to know who you're dealing with.

Needless to say, anyone who has stayed with this thread knows a little about the importance of stepping out of the box...

:) That's one more point for us.

It only when one steps outside of themselves, what they play, what they know that true art and life happens.

Congratulations to Kassonica for successfully completing this thread. His post was the final one, so job well done. 8)

Thank goodness! It's about time that someone wrote the final post. Thanks to Kassonica for doing it. It's finally over! I think this may be my first post in this thread, so mine can't be the last. Kassonica's is the last.

And that was one hell of a thread, wasn't it?

Yes, it has been a privilege and an honor to post on this thread. And yet, I feel that there is so much more to say. I, for one, am bursting with appreciation for those who have so skillfully avoided the end of this thread.

I could go on and on, but I want to let someone else have their say about it too. I mean, if we can get 128 votes on a naming survey, then we can do better than a few send-offs, right? In Hawaiian, good-bye also means hello. So really... this could be the start of something special.

Anyone have anything else to say on the matter?
