Surge is really fun. Great community. The UI feels a little cramped, but the feature-set is really impressive.

Free Drum Replacement Trigger

I don't think the free version needs iLok, as it never appeared in my account. There always seems to be a demand for this sort of thing, and it might be worth the price of some extra email.

There's a new version of Surge, Surge XT. Stands installed along side Surge 1.9. Now with turbo-charged engines and anti-lock brakes.

I see it's a public beta. It's exciting that they are doing some robust development. It's a nice synth. I look forward to the final release. (I'm not in a good headspace to beta test something right now.)

Is it in beta? I didn’t even realize it. I installed it and loaded a few patches and nothing blew up… so far. Image

It's 1.0. The only problem I've run into is that some of the 1.9 skins don't work.

My Google search turned up a page for the beta download, but it looks like the 1.0 release is already available as of 1/18/22.

Nice. I'll see if the download shows the features (in addition to anti-lock brakes) :)

Sorry--I must be thick. The page mentions an "individual installer" (so you don't have to install via their bloatware), but I'll be damned if I can find it. Has anyone found an installer for Dirty Tape other than Softube Central?
