That's very-generous of you James; thank you!

Honestly mate, don't worry about it; you might as well pull it now.

Yes, I don't run any installation software if I can help it. Call me old-fashioned but I like to have all installer files at-hand.

Okay... suit yourself. That's the legit UVI Workstation 4.0.1 installer that I downloaded with UVI Portal. FYI, you can save the installer file that UVI Portal downloads. I'll pull it down now.

That was the case here. A big pile of installer apps that all work differently is no less a PITA than the previous situation where we had loads of different authorization methods. And I liked to keep copies of the installers, except looking back, I’ve probably only ever gone back to one of the backed-up installers to point out to TDR that one of their installers at V4.1 was identical to the v4.0 installer. I suppose it’s insurance if one of them goes under and disappears overnight, but even then, you have to wonder if it’s worth the effort.

I like to keep installers on hand, "just in case," however I'm beginning to think I'm just being overly cautious. On occasion I've had to re-install and older version if I have problems with an update. Some developers allow you to access earlier version installers, but many don't.

On rare occasion, I've been able to help someone out who is running an older machine and looking for an old version. It's always nice to be able to ride in and be the "hero," but that's been very rare.

I'll probably continue to archive installers, but I may start instituting a policy where as I only keep them for three updates back or so and purge anything going back further.

Nice! Apple Silicon... VST3... That's a good little synth. I need to see if it will be "Kompatible" with the third party NKS Library I've been using for it with Komplete Kontrol. Probably not, but I'm sure that might get updated. Excellent!

I keep only the latest ones so yeah, I'd recommend that brother.
