Any idea on which OS version this is going to be compatible (or not going to be) with? That is the question.

It's on their site, but work is slow around these parts. I fetched it for ya...MIDI Life Crisis wrote:Any idea on which OS version this is going to be compatible (or not going to be) with? That is the question.
macOS version 10.11 or later
Windows 7 (32- and 64-bit)
Thanks a lot. I'm on 10.12.6 and hope to stay there indefinitely. I can't afford to drop Finale 2014.5. Well, I can afford it, but not at the expense of my mental health.Michael Canavan wrote:It's on their site, but work is slow around these parts. the Mach Five quip, yeah that's got me beyond curious, I'm guessing since no one has reported on it that the plug ins are in a sort of Mach Five Player™ module. I am curious as to what the story is there. It's probably a dead end, and future sampling will be done in this format for MOTU, i.e. other developers engines, but it makes me wonder. I have not problem either way, I'm happy with falcon, especially since they did a MPE script that's really useful, but I wonder if MOTU aren't going to cook something up in the future???MIDI Life Crisis wrote: And I did hear Brendan says "all of Mach Five's sounds are included." I wonder of the Notation window is still available and how Quickscribe has been improved. All great stuff.
Don’t know why you need new MW EQ. It is perfect already. Newer stuff like dynamic eq and desser aren’t exactly worn out either.macnylonguitar wrote:
DP 10 looks interesting, but the plugins, effects are so dated, to say nothing of the amps (practically useless).
Already have BIAS Amp Pro 2, with Amp Match, perhaps the best software amp out there, can do anything and everything.
DP has not updated effects, plugins...in what seems like forever, Masterworks EQ?, limiter? Third party, Waves F6, TB Barricade limiter, etc, are already better than that...
and I use the UA Apollo pre's...Neve, API...
I am used to the DP workflow, Chunks, audio editing, so I may go that way, but Logics updated effects, plugins, and synths look far ahead now... thx, macnylonguitar
Are you saying Hide Tracks over Mackie Protocol has been implemented?Michael Canavan wrote: Oh man, yess on the Hide Tracks!![]()
Bonus feature unlocked!
Yeah I was kinda?? Masterworks EQ is comparable to Logic's similar EQ in every way, and Ableton's.HCMarkus wrote: Don’t know why you need new MW EQ. It is perfect already. Newer stuff like dynamic eq and desser aren’t exactly worn out either.
Yes. An update of DP’s plugins was low on my personal priority list. The last few updates were overly plugin-centric IMO. I’m kind of happy to see zero new effects plugins. Updates to the app is what I was looking for...and found!HCMarkus wrote:Don’t know why you need new MW EQ. It is perfect already.
