MIDI Life Crisis wrote:Also keep a landline I never use unless someone sends or needs a fax, but it's not sacrificial. If someone is incapacitated and can't talk and dials 911 from a cell, there's no address info. In a landline, if you dial 911 and leave an open line, they will come and find you. My wife fell a few years ago and broke her jaw. If i wasn't there, she probably wouldn't have been able to get help otherwise.
I keep my fax machine on a dedicated traditional landline for the exact same reason.

What's a "fax machine"?

A fax machine is a physical device that you put a document in and it tests the veracity of all the information contained therein. It will also simultaneously scan or print said document but will also check and correct all facts. I use it to proof read my scores.

From Fluffy Audio. A very nice one not to be missed. Not sure how long it will be available. I'm not a shil for F.A., but I'm liking their stuff more and more. The Danny Elfman demo is not really a good one. Just happy to pass it on:

If you got Quadravox from Evantide for free like I did (thanks for the tip cuttime!), for two more days you can get Octovox for $29 from Evantide as a crossgrade. In addition to doubling the number of available harmony voices for 4 to 8, Ocotvox adds MIDI control over pitch shifting. I'm gonna' jump on this one.

Yes, jumping on that, too.

Because you know you need another reverb:

It took over 6 hours before it showed in my Native Access account; be patient.

Yeah cuttime, there's a warning in red type on the NI site's page that appears after you click the "Free Download" button on the RAUM page:
Due to high demand, some users are finding it currently takes longer for RAUM to appear in Native Access. Please note this can take up to two hours at the moment. We’re sorry for the delay, and hope you have fun once it arrives!
It took 6 in your case, but at least NI's issued the heads-up.
