I had several things I had on my "wishlist" that I couldn't do anything about with a mod.
1. The color of the Tracks Overview.
2. An inactive send state.
3. A different color for the wiper.
4. The little white spaces where "solo/mute/rec/input" were.
These things all are changeable now with 7.1. I just discovered the mixer button fix, will be putting out an incremental update. So does this mean MOTU thinks the mods looking their best is important? Or just that they are trying to make their own jobs easier?
I'd imagine that it's a bit of both. It seams like Motu is really paying attention to things that are being said right now, I saw this on the Motu site regarding 7.1:
Digital Performer 7.1 made its debut at the NAMM Show 2010 in Anaheim, CA this past weekend to appreciative crowds at the MOTU booth. Product specialists showed off dozens of new 7.1 features, including the new Tuner plug-in and Track Folder enhancements, with word that the update would be available soon. Well, it's two days later and Version 7.1 is now shipping as a free update for all registered DP7 users.
I think the message comes through loud and clear.
So, your Mods are really a good thing for Motu. It creates a sense of community and makes us all feel like we are invested and have a voice within DP.
Plus you did a great job in publicizing and clarifying what you needed from them to make these mods kill and they delivered!

MANY FILES WILL BE OFFLINE FOR A WHILE AT THE SITE.
Sorry for the inconvenience, folks. Just making a small change to make donations more attractive.
All will be back to normal soon.

Hi, Amplidood,
I donated today, not as much as I would have liked but as much as I can afford right now. I was wondering how to get access to those new additional files?

I'll be emailing the additional files to all those who donate. Sorry for the delay, been restructuring things a bit.

I think you are right. There's just one folder where all mod materials can go now. That's HUGE for simplicity. That could even lead the way to me developing a mod-switching app. I've stayed away from that just because it seems better to have different copies with different icons to me.

Thanks Dino.
For those having trouble with the instructions included with the mods, there's a pictoral installation guide on the site now.
