I'll jump on the appreciation pile, Rick... Thank You!

Haven't tried it yet, just downloaded, but the great vibe I'm getting from all the happy folk here is a pleasure already!

Rick I just got around to installing this. Confirmed it works fine with DP 10.

On your track colour palette, the download has a sceenshot. Do I understand it's not something you can upload and it's up to us to edit a palette to get these colours?

And did you mean the theme focus colour cannot be changed? I was able to make it white. But I noticed that in DP 10, changing some of the theme colours changes others. E.g. if I change the cycle colour or the focus colour, it changes the selection colour too, regardless of what is selected at the time. Going back and re-editing the focus colour fixes this, so I think there must be a DP bug there in V10.

Anyway, thanks for sharing, I can see using this as the default. The darker MOTU themes seem to be dark for the sake of being dark, while yours makes it easy to locate things and identify things.

Thanks! Good to know it works with DP10.

I honestly ran out of time to work on track colo(u)rs. I recall being able to share the track color files once upon a time, but if it’s the case, I can’t remember how to do it any more. (Let me know if you know how to share track color files.) So my interim solution was to send the screen shot and you can eye dropper the colors, if you wish. You should only need to reset the first and last color in each line. I’m not near my system at the moment, but I believe the original MOTU color palette this was built off of is called Spectrum Effects, so you might start with that one and modify, if you like.

What I meant to convey is that I couldn’t find a way to specify a focus color that would change with the theme, so if you want white (which is what I like, as well) you have to choose to use your own focus color in preferences.

I can’t reproduce what you describe about the focus color also changing other colors.

Let me know how it works out for you after you drive it for a while. I am already starting a list of things I’d like to update in the next version.

I don't know how to share track colours. But for anyone who wants to duplicate your colours, here are the hex codes for ends of each row. If anyone wants to use these, note you can't copy and paste into the colour editor, you have to type them, and the letters must be upper case.

You, Rick and Stoivo (Baysie) are all legends, Brother Sir Markus.

EDIT:
That's not to say that all the other legends here aren't; they are by-definition. :headbang:

Rick, I've been using your theme for a while now. It's perfect because I don't even notice it. Everything is just there and easy to see and it works well for very long sessions.

I made one tweak -- removed the yellow line that runs between the currently active tab and the upper right corner.

Thanks for sharing.

Thanks for the post. And customize to your heart's content. I’m debating several changes and among them is how best to emphasize the active pane of the consolidated window.
